PRESIDENT
FAMILY AND GRADUATE STUDENT HOUSING LEADERSHIP COUNCIL (FGSHLC)
August 2019 - May 2021

Preside over the FGSHLC meeting as a non-voting member, except in the case of a non-election tie.
-
Coordinate election and/or appointments of vacant Officer Positions.
-
Establish an agenda format, tentative goals, and objectives to serve as starting points for FGSHLC meetings.
-
Seek to establish an atmosphere of good communication and cooperation between FGSH, FRC, RHA, Housing and Residential Life (HRL), and other Oklahoma State University Officials.
-
Represent FGSHLC at the semimonthly Leadership Council Executives Meetings with the advisor or appoint a designee in his/her absence.
-
Make sure FGSHLC members are fulfilling the duties of their offices and will seek corrective measures including but not limited to augmented training or removal from office.
Accomplishments:
-
The growth of the organization has been from nothing to around 50 people
-
Started the organization with a zero dollar budget. Bur generated funds for events and made the organization more functional
-
Brought in various scholarship opportunities through collaboration with other student organizations
-
Conducted an outdoor movie night event on a zero dollar budget
-
Designed the logo for the organization
COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
GRADUATE AND PROFESSIONAL STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION
August 2020 - May 2021

In conjunction with the President, publish all announcements and conduct correspondence of the GPSGA to representatives and liaisons and relevant to graduate students
-
Serve as chair of the Communications and Publications Committee
-
Serves as moderator of all representative and executive lists
-
Monitor university websites to ensure all information regarding the GPSGA is up-to-date and correct, including any links to the GPSGA website
-
Manage the social media accounts and post updates and engage the students in social media
-
Oversees all advertising on behalf of GPSGA
Accomplishments:
-
Created a LinkedIn page to connect all the members with the alumni in order to promote and provide networking opportunities
-
Designed certificates for the GPSGA awards and various social media posts
-
Upgraded the paper applications and forms to online forms and applications. Even moved the elections and attendance for each meeting online which has improved our efficiency.
CAMPUS RELATIONS CHAIR
STUDENT VOLUNTEER CENTER
August 2020 - May 2021

Collaborate with the Outreach Chairs to coordinate, develop, and maintain the SVC’s
social media presence -
Actively promote student understanding of, and participation in, the Student Volunteer Center
-
Contribute regularly to the center’s newsletter and/or website
-
Find creative and innovative methods of promoting the SVC’s activities
-
In order to allow for a smooth transition, before leaving office, the Relations Chair will
educate the incoming Relations Chair about duties and active engagements
Accomplishments:
-
Promoted various events and circulated the various volunteering opportunities through the Monday memo, newsletter and social media
